TURBO-EXPANDER CRYOGENIC DEEP-CUT FRACTIONATION FACILITY PROJECT

CyrogenicProject.jpg

Pre-FEED Engineering for the design of a new turbo-expander cryogenic fractionation facility capable of handling 400 MMSCFD inlet gas with a minimum recovery of 85% ethane and 98% of propane.

Technical evaluation of different Turbo-Expander Technologies such as:

  • Gas Subcooled Process (GSP)

  • Recycle Split Vapour (RSV)

  • Ortloff Recycle Split Vapour Enrichment (RSVE)

  • Ortloff Supplemental Rectification Process (SRP)

  • Ortloff Single Column Overhead Recycle (SCORE)

New Turbo-Expander Plant design includes:

  • Mole sieve dehydrators

  • Inlet separators

  • Heat exchangers

  • Gas/Gas exchangers

  • Low temperature separator (LTS)

  • Turbo-expander/compressor unit

  • De-methanizer

  • Reflux loop (Condenser, accumulator, pumps)

  • Pumps

  • Reboilers

  • Gas compressors

  • Aftercoolers

  • Propane refrigeration loop

  • Utilities (FG, I/A, HM)

Evaluation of existing plant auxiliary systems and determine new systems requirements:

  • Inlet Filters

  • Inlet Dehydrators

  • Sulfur Sweetening Unit

  • NGL Storage and Pumping

  • Hot Oil System

  • Flare System (Low Pressure Flare / Flare Knock Out Drum / Smokeless Flare Stack)

  • Fuel Gas

  • Instrument Air

Completion of Class V Estimation for each Turbo-Expander technologies:

  • CAPEX

  • OPEX
